In order to enhance the beautiful vistas of the winding Ohio River and majestic Kentucky hills, the owners of this gorgeous tract of land, in late fall, 2018, cleared some of the small vegetation and trees to better showcase the surrounding area.

This historic picture shows the old schoolhouse on the top of the hill, which was located on the cleared area of the property. Schoolchildren climbed the 100 steps from the town up the hill to get to the schoolhouse, which was ultimately destroyed by fire
